Comedienne Kathy Griffin Interviewed on "Inspiration with Lance Heft" (PBS Fall '10)

The concept behind the new PBS Inspiration TV Show is the brainchild of TV and radio show host, author, and entrepreneur Lance Heft.

Owner of several multimillion dollar companies, Heft authored a book describing how he was able to live the American dream. His strong desire to share this wisdom led to his quest to reach millions through TV and radio by interviewing successful people: celebrities including famous musicians, artists, and actors as well as everyday people such as small business owners, restaurateurs, and doctors.

One high-profile interview includes Emmy Award-winning comedienne Kathy Griffin who gives viewers a rare glimpse into a side of her multi-dimensional character.

Heft also interviewed Elliott Yamin won the hearts of millions when he appeared on American Idol. His journey reveals a man of true strength and conviction as he taps into his emotions and shares some of the sources of his greatest pain and joy.

Heft's motivation for bringing Inspiration to viewers was to create a forum so that people could be privy to the process of making the American dream tangible. His mission is to showcase the endless ways to realize the American dream through the living stories of those who have attained success, happiness, and fulfillment.
